We are looking for a professional QA Engineer to join our Cards team. As a QA you will support our Product team with manual and automation testing.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting rapid feature development with automated testing once the features are ready
- Be responsible for API automation testing
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using Cypress
- Investigate test failures to identify potential bugs
- Cooperate closely with different stakeholders and other team members to release the product at a higher level of quality
- Perform manual testing when necessary
- Be responsible for functional testing of the financial back-end system on the integration and system levels
- Participate in knowledge sharing sessions between QA, contributing to the development of automation tool-set
- Writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, cases and keep them up to date
Our expectations
- Studies (BA/MA) in the field of IT or technology
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- A team player with strong communication skills
- Good knowledge of SQL and Javascript is a bonus
- Experience in microservices
- Experience with Jenkins is a bonus
- Previous experience in banking or finance, but if you feel this is something you’d be committed to learning, that’s also fine with us
- Excellent communication skills in English
