We are looking for a professional Manual QA Engineer to join our Core Banking team. As a QA you will support our Product team with manual testing.
What you'll be doing
- Perform manual testing for both frontend and backend (API testing, database changes, rabbit messages)
- Ensure that the implemented functionality aligns with the specified requirements
- Writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, cases and keep them up to dateIdentify defects & bugs and work with developers and analysts to resolve them
- Provide clear bug descriptions and valuable debugging information
- Proactively monitor the health of existing products through regression testing and support channels. Addressing functionality issues and assisting with support inquiries
- Cooperate closely with different stakeholders and other team members to release the product at a higher level of quality
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions within the QA team to enhance and streamline QA approaches and processes
Our expectations
- Studies (BA/MA) in the field of IT or technology
- Good analytical skills
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Readiness to dig into complex business logic
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- A team player with strong communication skills
- Good knowledge of SQL and Postman
- Familiarity with QA automation, preferably with Cypress and TypeScript is a huge bonus
- Experience with Jenkins and GitLab is a bonus
- Familiarity with AWS is a bonus
- The ability to read and understand Java code is a bonus
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Previous experience in banking or finance, but if you feel this is something you’d be committed to learning, that’s also fine with us
- Excellent communication skills in English
